South Stradbroke Island Resort is
a superb combination of contrasts. With a proliferation of native flora and fauna
in the extensive natural reserve, and miles of unspoiled sandy beach, the relaxed informality of
this island resort is unique to the Gold Coast, and indeed Australia.

How do you get to South Stradbroke Island Resort?
| 20-25 minute fast ferry services from Runaway Bay Marina, 247 Bayview
St, Runaway Bay, Gate "C". |
| COST - $30 per adult return and $15.00 per child (3-13 y/o) for a
different day return. If return is on the same day it is $35.00 per adult and
$20.00 per child |
| The ferry departs from Runaway Bay Marina at 10.30am and 4.00pm daily. 6pm
Friday and Saturday Nights. |
| The ferry departs South Stradbroke Island Resort at 8.00am, 2.30pm and
5.00pm weekdays. 8.00am Saturdays, 9.30am Sundays, 3.30pm and 5.00pm weekends. |

Breakfast
| Super Breakfast- $13.90 (bacon, eggs, hash brown, sausage, tomato,
toast, juice, cappuccino) (Served through the bistro between 7.30am -
11.00am) |
| Continental Breakfast- $15.00 per adult and $7.50 per child
(fruit, cereal, toast, juice, tea, coffee) (Served
through the restaurant between 7.30am - 9.00am) |
| Full cooked breakfast- $21.00 per adult and $11.50
(continental plus a plate of hot breakfast) (Served through
the restaurant between 7.30am - 9.00am) |
Lunch
| All lunch time meals are served through the bistro between 11.00am -
2.00pm. The bistro offers meals such as burgers, chicken schnitzels, steaks,
hot chips, seafood baskets, grilled fish, various salads and kids meals. The
prices range from $7.50 for a kids meal through to $26.00 for a steak. |
Dinner
| Between 6.00pm - 8.00 pm the bistro is open, serving the same menu as
lunch. |
| Between 6.00pm - 8.00 pm the restaurant is open. The restaurant offers a 3
course a la carte meal with 2 or 3 choices per course. Meals are $40 per
adult and $25 per child. You must make a booking to dine in the restaurant
unless you are on a package with meals included. |
